Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand is often referred to as “Korat” by locals. It is the largest city in the Isaan region and the gateway to Thailand’s northeastern provinces.

Korat has a long history dating back to the 13th century when it was founded by King Rama II. The city was an important military outpost during the Ayutthaya period and later became a thriving trade center.

Today, Korat is a modern city with a population of over 150,000. It is home to many universities and colleges, as well as numerous factories and industrial estates. The city also boasts a number of shopping malls, restaurants, and hotels.
