Kanchanaburi, Thailand is a province located in the west of the country. The province is best known for its role in World War II, when it was the site of the infamous Death Railway. The railway was built by Allied prisoners of war, and over 100,000 men died during its construction.
Today, Kanchanaburi is a popular tourist destination. The province is home to several national parks, as well as the Bridge over the River Kwai. Visitors can learn about the area’s history at the Kanchanaburi War Museum, or take a ride on the Death Railway.
With so much agricultural land, it’s no wonder that Kanchanaburi is a popular spot for cannabis growers and has a good number of cannabis dispensaries.
