According to ThaiPBS, the Nonthaburi-based Phra Nangklao Hospital has opened its first medical cannabis clinic.
The clinic will be initially staffed by 16 medical personnel which includes doctors, nurses, a dentist, and pharmacists that have completed training in the use of cannabis for medical purposes.
Phra Nangklao will treat specific diseases, currently limited to, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), coronary disease, insomnia, muscle weakening, muscle numbness, nausea following chemo therapy, and stroke.
The clinic will be open Mondays from 1 – 4.30 pm.
