Thailand’s new Tourism and Sports Minister, Pipat Ratchakitprakan, said that he would like to promote medical marijuana and Thai traditional medicine tourism.
Pipat, a influential member of the pro-marijuana Bhumjaithai Party, believes that working with fellow party member, Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, Thailand can offer detox and other medical tourism opportunities using Thai traditional medical practices involving marijuana.
